Hey I'm new to using this site so please forgive me if I'm doing this wrong. I mad this account because I need help with one of my button quail.
One of my male button quail I noticed and a somewhat firm bump under his eye. I was worried and guessed one of my other males had injured him and it was swelling. There were no visible wounds. I monitored the bump for a few days and it seemed to be lessening.
However, I left for a night away for the 4th of July. When I returned the quail had a larger bump above the same eye.
The bump from before seems to be gone but the bump that is here now seems to be making it hard for my quail to close his eye.
He's acting normally otherwise, eating, drinking, all the works. But I worry that it will get worse or it's a tumor of some kind. I could really use the advice of someone more experienced. I've only had these quail for a couple months.
It's hard to see the lump in the picture with button quails being so small. My camera quality isnt great either.
Any suggestions/help is appreciated!
