Quail hatch. Follow along.

Pics
Update: the oldest quails turned 8 weeks old Wednesday. Everyone is doing good and I haven't lost one since the one who got stuck. They are starting to mature more and more every day. The males have started growing the black and white on their faces. Mama and daddy quail have officially stopped parenting the quail as of a week ago. The littlest quail are 4 weeks old as of yesterday. I have made a lot of adjustments to the aviary and they seem to love it. I'll send pics within the next day or so.

Well, I did it... I bought an incubator 🫣 I've been playing with it the last couple of weeks, calibrating thermometers/hygrometers, making nerdy graphs of its behavior & trends, making sure the turner works, etc... I'm hoping to hatch out a batch of babies before the summer is over but I want to do all my research first and make sure I'm super comfortable with my incubator before I order eggs. I'm currently in the midst of a "simulated hatch" where I'm gonna run it for 18-20 days as though I'm hatching actual eggs so I can practice managing the humidity etc. I'm very excited and will definitely be posting in here again when I am doing an actual real hatch!
Which did you order?

I was very familiar with my still air incubator.
I am learning a new forced air incubator right now. The biggest difference is the steadiness of the humidity. This forced air Bator is nuts with the humidity. My still air Bator was extremely steady when it came to humidity.

I'm not learning the Bator the correct way like you though. I have eggs in it. I hope I don't ruin all of the eggs. 🤐😳
