Quail ID please (visually impaired)

I'm visually impaired and new so I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I was told they were cortnix. They are white with brown/black speckles at the head. The bird who's looking away has it on the back of it's head in this photo (so I'm told, I cant tell.) I thought Cortnix were colored. Unfortunately breed is not something I can determine by sounds or touch. I'd like to know so I can provide better care.

Coturnix come in a lot of different colours (thanks to James Marie Farms and others.) Those look like coturnix to me. Welcome to BYC!

They appear to be coturnix quail, both are white; if you could give us some good pictures of their vent, we may be able to determine gender for you.
