Quail Male or female

Hi I have two quail that I’m wanting a second opinion if they are male or female?? I’ve attached some photos I’m also curious how many I should have?? I currently have two . I wondering if I need more for companionship reason.

Female I believe.
They look awfully overweight. Might just be the angle of the photos.

That looks like the same bird, and it looks like a female from the breast feathers if it's a regular coturnix
