Quail Not Laying!

Sad Update:
After sitting on them for 5-6 days, she suddenly stopped. I left them with her for a few more days hoping she'd start again, but she ended up abandoning them. Not sure what triggered it.

Animals in captivity often don't carry/care for their young like they would in the wild, no matter what kind of environment we provide for them. The fact she tried at all means she feels safe in your enclosure—she might yet try again. And if you have an incubator handy, you could take over as "mama" if another hatch were to go south.
