Today when I got home, I took a look at my quails and found out that one of them has swollen eyes. I immediately took her to the local vet but the problem is that he is known for misdiagnosing animals. He said it is an allergy and gave her some kind of injection. I hope he was right, can someone help me? Does it really look like an allergy and will she get better?

It could be? Can you separate her for a bit to keep a close eye on her? If she gets better, then worse when you put her back in with the others, then it probably is allergies and you should look for what might be causing it.

It looks like some sort of irritation, but whether it's particles in the eyes or allergies, I don't know.

Thank you, she's better now. But there's another problem. The vet gave me some kind of ointment for her foot (he said she has an ulcer, I posted about it a few months ago) and I started using it, now her legs are purple (you can see her veins) and she's laying all day, barely drinking and eating. I'm not sure if it's because of the ointment though. She also started to act aggressive towards her friend, it's not the first time and I usually separate them when they do this but now she makes weird growling sounds.
Oh and she's also breathing pretty heavily.

It doesn't look awful, but I would keep an eye on ti. It looks like a bit of swelling on the toes. How does it look under the bandage?

It looks like this but it's not that red anymore. What's up with the heavy breathing and not doing anything all day?

I would guess that your bird is in a lot of pain. Panting is how they cool down and a response to stress. The black on the foot doesn't look good. Is it going down or spreading?

Is your bird still not doing anything but sit there and pant?
