Peruvian Quetero males have larger earrings. Female have small or no earrings at all. Some hens have larger earrings as well.

This hen has the perfect conformation even though her earrings are a bit large- they are nevertheless of an ideal shape.
Theoretically speaking, this hen would or could produce males with even larger earrings.

The photo you posted of a male with tiny earrings reminded me of what one sees on many of the Peruvian Quetero females.

I'd like to adopt Winter Faced Collonca and Collonca Quechua de aretes. Are all you North American poultiers following?

If the bird has a muff and or beard it is "winter faced" as such, if it has no tail- that is it is a collonca we shall define its morphotype as "winter faced collonca".
This enables us to share vernacular with our South American colleagues.

If the bird has a winter face, earrings and is also without a tail this is a collonca quechua de aretes - or winter faced collonca de aretes?

Each lineage should have a name so that breed registries can be maintained. We'll want to import from Chile/Peru/Argentina and export stock as well.
That means we will need strict breed registries.

As you can see yellow legs are a fairly common fault around here, but I think I can do with this female fix green legs. Although it also "kollonca de aretes" but her earrings almost unnoticeable.

has a small pen in each ear, leaving in its atrial orifice
