Question about the HovaBator 1588.....

I'm thinking the 1588 that is from Cutlers supply on ebay for $110.25 plus the $29.20 for shipping(all without the turner, which I can do myself since I'm home all day) is my best bet!! Even with what the duty tax will be which can't be that much, the 1588 sounds like a great buy!!

Okay, if I purchase from Cutlers and get the 1588 and the turner they want to charge $57.70 for shipping, so I guess they ship the items separate??

yep, I ordered mine from them last Wednesday and got it yesterday. My duck eggs are in it now and they are turning nicely b/c I also bought the auto turner. The temp is up to 99.4 and humidity is at 60-63%. I'm so happy with it. Here is their link...

Even with the international link, the closest place doesn't sell the 1588 **sigh** and the price for the turner is alot more here in Canada.
Guess I'm going to get it from Cutler's.

Is there anything else I'm going to need for the 1588 besides the eggs and water and patience

We bought straight from cutlers, best prices, hands down for us anyway.
2 1588's with turners: $307. (so that is around $153.50 for a 1588 plus turner plus shipping, not bad at all)
All shipped together, shipping was around $16 bucks or something? I was pleasantly surprised and would buy from numerous times again!

I am just learning too. So many people here helped me get it together. How I want another one or some of my hens to go broody. I thought 2 had started today, but then a few hours later, they left their egg (each) and didn't come back. Maybe its just getting started. They were both really nasty to me and were growling (?) at me and threatening to nip me when I reached in to get their eggs.
