Question about this coop on Amazon

There are usually local options. Where are you located? How many birds are you thinking?

Another choice is a small storage shed from Lowes, HD, etc. Use that to modify into a nice coop.

thats what i got out of reading it also. plus the only comment on it was unsatisfied

I'm guessing the one person that did buy it was probably shocked when they rec'd only the run.

Becareful when shopping online....
pictures can be very very tricky...sneaky on purpose.

I like your idea about the shed.....
ME, up to 12 birds, maybe more.
If at all possible I ONLY want to spend $300 or less.

Buy a 200$ arrow shed from Home Depot. Even though it's made out of metal, you can attach windows and perch/nesting boxes for 30 bucks. Then, on amazon, you can buy a big run/cage for 69 bucks.

Cut a square hole in either side of the shed using a saw, and put in chicken wire/hardware cloth. Provides for additional ventilation and sunlight for the chickens.

The 2nd coop is a little tricky because it looks like they included the nest box space in the measurements. That's not usable floor space. My guess is the nest box takes up 1/4 of the length so you're looking at about 8 sq ft of floor space on the "Standard." That's enough for 2 full sized birds. (sorry edited because my math is terrible)

Looked at the link again, they're claiming 12+ sq ft of interior space. How does 52.8" x 28.9" = 12+ sq ft even if you include the nest box area?
