Question on GMO feed

Alright, here is one: http://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-n...f/2013/03/alaska_legislature_passes_reso.html

I need to sort through days of history to find the original list, but give me a few and I will come up with it. One county in WA state has also recently banned the planting of any GM crops. Personally, I will not eat nor feed my children or my animals anything that is GM. I feel that it is my right as a consumer to have the ultimate choice as to what I purchase. To say that I should have to purchase only more expensive organic products to "ensure" this is discriminatory. Big part of the reason that we are growing a huge garden this year, I've got my Grandmother's books on canning and preserving, we're raising our own chickens for meat and eggs. There may not be a lot of independent research into GMO's out there, but the history of companies like Monsanto who told us that Agent Orange and DDT were safe is enough for me. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

So you think the government should be able to tell you what to plant on your own property ?

Okay, here come more:

Hawaii and BT cotton http://www.epa.gov/pesticides/biopesticides/pips/bt_brad.htm
Labeling GE (GMO) fish in Alaska: http://www.legis.state.ak.us/folhome.htm

To stop corps. like Monsanto from entering a farmer's field to test his crops, Indiana: http://www.in.gov/legislative/ic/code/title15/ar4/ch13.html
Maine, regulation on pesticides used to stop the planting of BT corn because it is classified as a pesticide: http://janus.state.me.us/legis/statues/22/title22sec1471-D.html
Oregon, GE fish ban: http://arcweb.sos.state.or.us/rules/OARS_600/OAR_635/635_007.html
Washington State GE fish ban: http://apps.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=220-76-100

There you go. Lots of us in Washington state doing all we can to get labeling of GMO's passed. It's our right to know.

Most of those links don't work. And the ones that do said nothing of the kind.

Juries often decide based on emotion
Judges stick to facts and the law

NO, Juries are instructed to rule based on law and evidence. Have you ever been on a jury? I have, several times. What an uninformed comment. The Casey Anthony verdict was based on emotion...I think not.

As far as 'evidence' with all this Monsanto and GMO stuff, all the 'proof' I need is the actions of these Bio-tech companies. They don't allow independent testing, and have infiltrated our government. Is that not cause for question? Why the need for secrecy? And who says the 'onus' for proving they are harmless is on the Anti-GMO crowd? What a bunch of BS. The 'onus' is on those who created this mess and they are blocking every step of the way. As I said in a previous post, the FDA approved with a 90 day study. Ridiculous. Follow the money, it always talks.

And Bear Foot Farm...you never answered my question....do YOU feed your animals GMO feed?

Not going to debate this, but just want to say that I will not knowingly feed my family or pets something that has been banned across the world (Italy, Austria, France, Germany, Luxenburg, Greece, Spain, Portugal, UK, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Brazil, Paraguay, Western Australia, Norway, Japan, New Zealand, Ireland and Switzerland.) I highly doubt they were banned without testing.
All I ask is that my food be labeled so that I can choose if I would like to eat GMOs or not.
If you want to eat them, more power too you........
