So I have a thermostat controlling my heat lamp if it get over 100* degrees in my brooder the lamp will turn off. Is that okay? The bulb i have is only 150 watt. And at night keeps the brooder a steady 89* degrees but in the day time it can heat it well over 100. Idk ifnits okay for the 13 day old chicks to be without the light even though the ambient room temp is warm.
