Hello to all, I have made an automatic watering device that contains stainless steel poultry tips for automatic watering of my birds to be mounted inside of the coop. I was wondering what some of you might suggest or 'know' to be a good height above ground to the watering tips. My birds are all small at the present, so no realtime way to measure adult stature of the various breeds. Was wanting easy access with a slight head tilt to allow sipping but was hoping they would not have to stretch.
I could do further research and obtain answers myself of the various adult statures, etc; but being a summer school physics student do not have time to 'do everything'.
Thanks for your help and advice.
Oh, I have a Buff Orpington, Plymouth Rocks, Golden Laced Wyondottes
Thanks, chris
