Questionable Ameraucana - Roo or Hen? (lots of pics)

The problem is that hatcheries call them Ameraucanas when actually they are EEs. It's no big deal if you don't care, and actually, I have both Ameraucanas and EEs and truth be told, my EEs are among my favorites are my best layers!

If you're interested in purebred Ameraucanas, you need to go to a breeder. With EEs, they don't always lay green or blue eggs. I began with 6 EEs and only 2 lay colored eggs (green). I was pretty disappointed. But, with purebred Ameraucanas, you will get blue eggs, sometimes blue/green, always. Enjoy them!
