If it were me, I would prepare just a small batch of the wet crumbles with poultry cell and throw what is left away by the end of the day. I wouldn’t leave it overnight and not for more than one day. And yes, poultry cell stinks

I have been giving them some inside of wet crumbles and they've been eating it up like crazy! I put a cap full in about 2 cups of warm water and add starter until its mealy, they haven't left any for me to toss yet. I assumed they wouldn't eat it if it smelled bad to them and none have been acting strange. If it were me, I would prepare just a small batch of the wet crumbles with poultry cell and throw what is left away by the end of the day. Poultry cell should be okay.....There is nothing in the brooder they should be attracted to. I add nothing to their water and they get only chick starter. I do not want to use any chemicals as I would have a worse reaction to that then the chicks.
I like to spend time inside of the brooder and wasps flying inside do not make me happy. It got quite chilly here and I have not seen one in a while. It is fine if I cannot do anything about this it is just a nuisance, I wear too many layers to be stung.
It was out for two days maximum. It was very chaotic and I had left it out near the brooder.
Actually you should probably throw it out just to be safe, the storing directions are "keep in a cool and dry place." So since it was in the sun for 2 days I probably wouldn't risk itIt was out for two days maximum. It was very chaotic and I had left it out near the brooder.
