Questions about ferret cage.

I want to make one of these cages but am wondering if anyone's had experience with these cages. If so has your ferret ever tried to squeeze through the holes and what are your opinion on this homemade ferret cage?

I believe it will also depend on the individual ferret. Personally, I believe my ferret probably would have escaped a cage like that after awhile. I eventually had to go the heavy metal cage route to stop her from getting out of her cage.
