I have had my eggs incubatting in my little giant for 18 days. I went and bought a hygrometer today and was going to put it inside and lock the birds down for the hatch. When I returned from the store the eggs are rolling and moving, should I leave it shut or open it to put it in. I filled all the water resevoirs full last nite and even added a soak tea towel under the screen. This is my first hatch and I really don't want to mess it up. 23 standard light brahma eggs. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you see pips leave it be. If not put it in.

You can get a spray bottle of hot water an spray in there when you do open it an opening is less of an issue.
