I am excited but quite nervus about the swap. Do I understand that as long as my blocks are 12X12 and have poultry involved I am good to go??? Just so anxious to get started.

When this swap is being done at least partly to go with the 1st swap for a bigger quilt, I do not get the size change... as if a participant did do the first swap, either adding borders to new blocks to make them the same size as the first with an all-around 1/2 border, or cutting down the first blocks will/can alter the symmetry of them. Here is a link to a free site that has been around forever. You can search by picture or block size and when clicking on the just 12'' (finished size when putting the individual blocks together) the possibilities are rather overwhelming...and this is just one site.Quote:

Yes, 12 x 12 blocks.
ALL - Did you notice I put down 12 x 12 and not 12.5 x 12.5 for this one?? The reason is the difficulty involved with the 12.5's, few patterns, and so most have to be customised. In the end, it often works out to 12 x 12 anyway. So, I wonder if anyone cares if we stick with just 12 x 12????
