I thought this thread was actually about some sort of quail hotel called a "quirky quail keeper" so I never bothered looking at it told you everything goes over my head!

I am now referring to the quail babies as flying bullets. You can try to count them, and you can try to catch them. You can’t do either!

Practice and you can catch a fly with chopsticks.

I was doing head count with Batch 1 outside and rocket boy makes a break for it. Without hesitation, I caught him in air. Total reflex. I hope I didn't scramble him too bad.

I put boxes of dirt in the cage. They will walk right into the box. Then jump up. Then walk right off the edge like they don't see the step. I'm concerned.

Changing the water this morning, I thought one had jumped out. I was looking around, and I finally decided that if I didn’t hear any crying, all were in the cage. I counted to 16, and I counted to 30.
