Rüłęr Øf Ñìght-Å Wärrìor Çats Roleplay

"Shut it. Do you hear that?"A rustle came from the bushes surrounding, and a few more. Crowpaw flicked his ears, narrowing his eyes."Foxdung.....litterally! I know that scent, it's foxes!"He skidded away from the bushes, hissing.
If only like you could escape to the trees like with dogs. Foxes were tricky. They could climb. But not as well as any Forestclan cat. But what about the others? What about the one cat who kept him from aborting the mission, the medicine cat apprentice?
He would climb first, think later.
Coldshard hauled himself up the trunk onto a branch. An oak.
He climbed higher and higher. No fox could reach him here. He saw it stride into the clearing below.
"I'm up here! Does anyone need my help?" His voice quavered, he was unprepared to do heroic actions to save the young apprentices from other clans.

"As if I can climb!"Crowpaw spat, unsheathing his claws. Instead of thick, short claws, they where long, thin and sharp, never meant to use for climbing. He hissed at the fox, lashed out, slashing the russet red muzzle. Blood spattered from the foxes muzzle, the russet creature baring its teeth at the scrawny cat in front of him.

Morningpaw glanced at Coldshard. She should run for safety in the midst of the trees. But she couldn't leave another cat out there alone. She let out a loud yowl."Hey fleapelt! Over here!"She yowled to the fox. It pricked its ears, Snarling.

"Fine, be that way then!" Coldshard shouted, jumping down from the tree, hitting the ground running. Straight for the fox.
He was the biggest with the most fighting experience, other than Thunderwave who probably had no fighting experience whatsoever, he didn't even have a nick on his ear.
Most Forestclan and Splashclan cats gained theirs by the tender young age of 7 moons.
He jumped almost over the fox, but putting all his weight into his front paws to barrel it over. He knocked it over and slashed its side.

I'm about the least suited cat for this situation. Heronpaw thought with a groan, as she tried to scale the tree. SplashClan lives near the river. I can swim, not climb! Not to mention I can hardly fight. When her escape attempt failed, she lunged forward and slashed the fox with as much force as she could, but seeing as how she merely scratched it, she whipped around and raced off into the woods in search of herbs, since it was unlikely that the other cats would get away unscathed.

Coldshard wished this group of apprentices could actually defend themselves.
Starclan had made a poor choice. Inexperienced apprentices and the two that came from SplashClan, a formidable opponent for ForestClan, well, one was a medicine cat apprentice, and one was a male who like never fought.
Then there was a cat.
Coldshard prayed for another Forestclan warrior to come down and save them, laying another blow on the fox as it lept toward him. "Thunderwave!" He screeched. "Get your fat butt over here and help me!"

Morningpaw leapt, claws outstretched. She rested up on her hind legs, lashing out at the fox with practiced expertise.
A primal snarl roared in her throat, but was cut off with a deafening shriek. The fox at lunged forward, snapping and clawing at her eye. Half her face was bleeding, blood pooling on the ground.

Coldshard lept toward the fox's head, snarling. He bit the soft cartilage in his ears and it squealed, adding more decorations to his face. "It's going to run soon," he whispered.

Morningpaw stoo in one spot, panting. Her head was down, hiding her face, but blood dripped to the ground.

"I'm fairly impressed," Coldshard said. "You're the only one who helped me fight."
He walked away to nurse his wounds.
