Magpiekit dashes to her mother's side, "Whirlfur? Do you need me to go to the medicine cat den and ask for herbs?" She mewed worriedly.

It was too much. All these feelings and she didn't know what to do with them. Ears flat against her head she dashed out of the nursery. Deerkit dashed right into Addertooth! @NoFlyBackFarm

He had tried making that an argument, but apparently she took it as a statement. "Why are you so immune?" He asked a question that could be taken in multiple ways, but any of the answers seemed interesting to the bored kitty.
"To the illness?" Heronpaw asked, "Because SplashClan is the toughest, obviously. Why aren't you immune?"

Whirlfur wonders why this is repeatedly requested. "I told you, go!"

"I don't know. Starclan probably makes it their life's goal to make me miserable," Coldshard said. Though he could trust one star in the night sky. His mother.

"That's not really what StarClan does." Heronpaw meowed, "They're more about helping cats, than hurting them."

Coldshard looked at his paws and kneaded the ground. "Well, if you're right, I wonder what our purpose is, and why they think we can do anything."

Coldshard did not like his calm manner, however, he mimicked it, with a bit more menace of sharp comments.
"Lucky, huh? I don't suppose you know where all of these scars come from, do you?" He didn't wait for one of Thunderwave's sickening answers. "In battle with your clan. How else really? I've been protecting my clan from your ruthless attacks, and you've been, feasting on fish? I suppose that is better than attacking us though. I thank you for that at least."
“Make sure you can support your own criticism. Do you think new warriors have any say in the decisions of a clan or how it’s run? I will never be proud of the choices Shadowstar has made.” Though his new remained calm, Thunderwave’s gaze had darkened at the thought of his leader. “Why do you think I’m here? Why do you think there’s even a prophecy? Because of the way things are, darkness is falling, I think it is already here. The clans must be united, but they’re breaking apart within themselves.”

Coldshard sighed.
He supposed this cat did have a point in why he didn't have a choice in the fighting.
But he did seem like a poor example of a Splashclan cat if StarClan was picking stereotypical versions of the clan.
Heronpaw was perfect. Not evil or pushy to reform.
Just pleasantly sarcastic.

"Well, why would we be any less capable than anyone else?" Heronpaw asked him, "The Clans need help, and we're going to give it to them. Although... I will agree it'd be nice to know what exactly we have to do."

"Hmm. It's odd that they picked 'paws.'
I would have picked adults," Coldshard grimaced.
