"You're just weird, then. How dare you not act like your Clanmates." Heronpaw playfully scolded her.
Sparrowpaw flicked her tail playfully at Heronpaw. "I guess I'm just a rebel, then." She replied in the same tone.
"You make a fair point." Heronpaw sighed and looked around at the others, "What do you all think?"
Crowpaw's tail thumped against the ground, and he narrowed his eyes at Morningpaw. "But what if the cure is up there?"
"Thunderwave, Sparrowpaw, what do you think?" Heronpaw looked over at the others.
"I think it's more likely that we'll run around that whole mountain and not find a single thing. Too risky." Sparrowpaw mewed dismissively.

"You hare-brain!" Crowpaw snarled, struggling to get on his paws. "There is something there. I know there is. There has to be, I can feel it." He lashed his tail, looking at the group. "We have to try....." He sounded desperate, as if desperate to be right for once.
"We should explore all of our options, but what if there is nothing there?" Heronpaw asked.

"Then there is nothing there. That's all. We turn back." Crowpaw meowed.
"And we'll have wasted days, if not weeks, of travelling." Heronpaw pointed out.
"It's not worth it if we continue searching around here and find nothing and never go to the mountains! Crowpaw snarled, lashing his tail.
"Well, then why don't we search around here first, and if we don't find anything, then we'll go to the mountains?" she suggested.

Crowpaw huffed, tail flicking from side to side. "You're useless, all of you! It's useless searching around here I feel it. Since none of you are going to bother to listen to me, I'm going to look myself." He turned around, and bounded across the field. He knew he was probably wrong, but he had irritation boiling in his chest that wouldn't die down. He needed to run. He needed to feel the wind whipping against his pelt and the shock as his paws slammed against the ground. He needed to go to the mountains. He couldn't tell why. But he had to, he felt it deep down. I shouldn't have been so snappy...I should have stayed and explained...but StarClan it feels good to be alone!

"Mouse-brain. It's not like you bothered to listen to us, either." Heronpaw muttered, "He can't survive there alone, I need to go after him." she decided, bounding off after the dark colored tom.

"Ugh. Mange-pelt won't last five minutes out there," Coldshard muttered. "Tell me when he calms down. Me going would be like throwing moss on the fire."

"I will!" Heronpaw called over her shoulder. The wind whipping past her ears would have blocked anything the others said, and she raced onward. She headed in the direction he left and tried to pick up a scent trail. She paused a moment to sniff around, but eventually found the trail. She followed the trail as quickly as she could, still not very fond of running. She spotted Crowpaw up ahead and put on speed to get to him. She arrived at him, panting, "I don't... know... how you... do that everyday."
