Rüłęr Øf Ñìght-Å Wärrìor Çats Roleplay

"I will!" Heronpaw called over her shoulder. The wind whipping past her ears would have blocked anything the others said, and she raced onward. She headed in the direction he left and tried to pick up a scent trail. She paused a moment to sniff around, but eventually found the trail. She followed the trail as quickly as she could, still not very fond of running. She spotted Crowpaw up ahead and put on speed to get to him. She arrived at him, panting, "I don't... know... how you... do that everyday."
Crowpaw snarled at her, and streaked ahead as fast as his paws would take him. "Just leave me alone!" He yowled, tail streaming out behind him, his long skinny legs taking large strides.

Heronpaw let out a frustrated growl and chased after him, "You are the most stubborn and mouse-brained cat I have ever met!" And I'm just as mouse-brained for not leaving you to die up there. she thought resentfully. Her paws thumping the ground as she ran, she tripped occasionally over a stone, but kept on running, determined not to let him get away. Heronpaw was a good distance behind him, although she was glad not to lose sight of him altogether.

Crowpaw didn't know how long he had been running, or where he was. He just knew he had been running long enough to exhaust himself completely. He skidded to a dead halt, his legs shaking with exhaustion as he sank to the ground, breathing heavily. I'm so stupid.

Heronpaw saw he had stopped and put on a burst of speed, almost crashing into him when she halted and collapsed beside him, "Don't... run off again... Please?"

"If "whatever you want" is a death wish, you're doing just fine." Heronpaw snapped, thoroughly annoyed with his recklessness, "The mountains would be tough enough if all of us were going, let alone just you."
"I can survive just fine on my own, thanks." Crowpaw snapped, tail whipping back and forth now. "I'm perfectly capable."

"Even you aren't perfect, mouse-brain." Heronpaw replied hotly, "So just what, might I ask, happens when you get hurt? You'd be up there either freezing or bleeding to death and no one would have any clue."

Even from this distance, Coldshard could here the heated argument with his acute catty hearing. He crossed his paws, wondering if Heronpaw would be able to convince the delinquent to come back. Either way, he will. He's nothing without us.

"The clans would be better off without me anyway." Crowpaw growled. He pushed himself to his paw, staring at her with a unblinking cold gaze. "Go back to the group, Heronpaw. Leave me. Because I'm not going back."
