R.I.P. my fat bottom girl

Ya, they are crazy smart! Our best bet is going to be waiting for dusk or early in the morning, cuz he's damn sure gonna be back! Hell he was waiting patiently this morning for me to let them out in the run before he came outta the fence line! Just wish I would have been a awake and alert
To be out like that during the daylight it must be one hungry coyote. I saw a coyote on one of my cameras last night. I haven't been seeing them in awhile. We were being overrun by coyotes awhile back but a neighbor let some hunters onto his property. There were some dens on his property not far from his house and he said he would watch them come out of the dens in the evenings, and I did hear some shooting over his way, so I suspect they must of got some. Before that I was seeing them every night on at least one of my game cameras and often times I saw 3 or 4 of them together. My neighbor said he hasn't been seeing the coyotes either. He was out of town when the hunters came. Now I see a fox quite regularly but not the coyotes. I put some leg traps around the body of a bird in the past and I put a camera up. The coyote would circle around the body but would not get close enough to the traps. I do have it on video. Good luck...

My neighbor around the corner actually saw him a few days later on his property, wounded and trying to get his ducks, he shot him again and that was the end of that. 😁
Could have been a different coyote, apparently there were quite a few problems this summer around our little town, but I doubt it. Still miss her, she was an awesome chicken, my blue orp doesn't even come close to comparing...lesson learned
