Rabbit got into a fight, now it’s eye looks terrible. Advice needed!

I understand the contra indications, but, it sounds like an RX is not an option.

....my vote is that something is better than nothing, as the ophthalmic version is prescription only.

I would personally feel better about doing something and succeeding (or failing...), compared to doing nothing other than cleaning, if the vet was not an option.

Thoughts?
Haha
You type more quickly that I do 😂
Although. I’m a bit distracted

Yes, I think I absolutely agree with you. Though, I’m just afraid the it might damage his eye, not just not succeeding. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe I’m more afraid to use it then I should be tho. I definitely hear what you are saying.

I bought it at TSC with no prescription.

Ok, I’ve completely cleaned it. It’s just really swollen currently
Whatever happens, you don't want anything to get in it, and you don't want it to attract flies.

I've had two horses who had eyes removed due to infection, and it is quite the insane process. An infection/wound with an odor will attract bugs... It can get real nasty real quick.

Definitely wouldn’t want that! I’m so sorry to hear about your horses, but wow, what a wonderful animal owner you are. I will continue to keep it very clean!
