Awwww,
try to get her nose clear of blood if you can, so she has an easier time breathing.
Saline (I used warm salt water) and you can use a black tea, tea bag that's been heated - so make your self a cup of tea,
Then let the tea bag cool down until it's just warm - make sure it's only just warm when you squeeze it, you can run it under warm water too, to make sure
The Tannic acid in tea works really against infection in eyes.

Thank you so much. She doesn't want me to wipe her at all and I dont want to cause her pain, but I think she would allow me to hold the bag to her eye for a little while, this is a great suggestion.Awwww,

Safe syringing:Careful when using a syringe, go slow cause you don't want to aspirate her.
You girl made it home. Please just leave her to rest and heal. It really looks like a major trauma were it you or I but somehow chicken tolerate it better. I am a big fan of warm epsom salt soaks to get rid of the old crusties, but maybe that just keeps my hands busy.
I would focus on stomping the life from the raccoon, but that is just me. It will be back.
Thank you, for your advice. I tried the tea bag this morning amd I will do it again tomorrow morning. It also helped to loosen some of the crusty blood so that was good too.Awwww,

Me i would let her fight get some visene for her eyes in the tussle the coon mayhave scratched her lense it will heal faster with eyedropps and she is probably not eating and drinking cause her beak hurts make her food soft and she will get water and food at once and she can't see it to eat put it on a spoon and up to her beak you may have to feed her
I offered her scrambled eggs, applesauce, and her food with water. She is still not interested in eating or drinking. I have begun giving her some baby aspirin in water with a syringe, so my hope is it will help the pain enough for her to want to eat. I have been giving her bits of applesauce just inside her beak with a syringe and she swallowed just a little but she didn't want it and I was afraid of drowning her so I have quit that.Thank you for your advice, It is much apreciated!
