Raccoon visit

Just like I have always said mom, dad and kids hundreds of coon families. If you can believe it some of your neighbors feed these things sometimes intentionally and not. Pets being fed outside on porches or out in the back porch or next to the dog house. Then you have people putting cat food out for them on purpose.

For those who wish to "humanely" relocate an animal, I have a great idea! There are lots of unsecured garbage cans in town, right? And bird feeders, and cat food out on decks at night, and people who think raccoons and possums are cute and intentionally feed them, right? So maybe I could trap my poor wild raccoons and possums who have to forage for food out here in the country and release them in town where it's easy pickin's for them! (I mentioned this on another thread, too, but I think it's worth repeating.) Much better than taking them far out into the country where they may not be able to find food due to being chased away from the ones who already live there, or possibly spreading rabies or distemper to the native population.

Hey hi there! Thankfully that photo is not from my property, I saved it when I saw it on BYC as "inspiration" to remember to always keep things safe and to never forget "they're out there"
