Our coop was invaded by a racoon who injuried 1 of our hens before we could get there. She has a tear on her back and rip on her face, we haven't seen anything else. We washed the wounds, flushed them out and purchased vit B, la200, and a wound spray. She will let me give her water from a syringe but hasn't eaten yet and she hasn't drank from a waterer because she is in a small crate seperate from the other birds. How much la200 should we gove her? And how often? She is now standing up and walking a bit but all this is new to me and I am LOST. HELP PLEASE!

You went with the most expensive one .You have done good .I would use 1 quarter ml twice a day give it orally. Go five days at least .If she survives the shock of attack that's the real problem .Fresh water don't force it .If you have a way to tube feed it might help. I use cathaters the tubes are soft round on the end. With a little work with can be made to go on a syringe.

She has done well with taking water and her liquid vitamins. Her wounds look really good and she is getting fiesty with me. I think she is on the upswing! We gave the la200 on Monday and she did well with that too. Her eyes are bright and she is warm. Thanks for the advice!
