Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Can you get a bottle of Poultry Nutri-drench or Rooster Booster? You are stating there is no label on the commercial mix telling you what's in what you bought?

It's like a general type of food given to farmers for chicken here 😅 chickens aren't really loved as a pets here so like not alot of options, what's rooster booster? I'm getting a poly vi sol I think that's the name but I'm not sure about the dosage, but I know that that feed I'm using is just some type of corn, 🙄 and we tried it with our older hens that's why it was our main feed next to eggs or veggies/fruits

Hi and welcome to BYC :frow We're so happy you've decided to join us :ya

Where are you located? as the others have said, back off the treats and stick mostly with the feed. If you want to boost the vitamins and protein give a little canned salmon or mackerel with the juice. Just a spoonful. Eggs have all the amino acids in the perfect balance for chickens, but they are low protein.

I'm in Egypt 🙄 I read about giving them salamons or tuna but is it ok to give him the normal canned tuna that we eat? Or does he need the raw one? With salamon too? I give him eggs daily so that means I'll have to add more proteins :) Tysm! ❤️ I saw some videos about diary products like cottage cheese or so too, is it ok to give him ? He's crooked toes so I thought milk will help with the calcium but I saw sites saying birds can't digest lactose . Again, thank you (:)

I would stick to the canned fish. Salmon and mackerel are better than tuna, but tuna in oil will work if you can't get the other. The cheap canned salmon is better for them than the expensive version. Also make sure you're giving chick grit on the side. Chick grit are really tiny hard rocks. You can order it on amazon if need be.

I use sand as a grit for now, but I'll order a valid version, soon enough, also gonna start him with the salamon from tomorrow hopefully, thank you so much ❤️☺️☺️☺️
