Well, yesterday was scheduled to the brooder day and we took 9 more ducks out. One didn't make it through the night but the others are strong. Still will have some late bloomers will take them out tomorrow. Pix to follow, they still have not arrived on my computer yet.

About 5weeks old now! Still all 25 growing strong. Pics from today in the temp run. Still bringing them in each night. Going through about 25 pounds of Purina Start & Grow a week now, plus their forage and garden gleanings. No illnesses or injuries so far. Knock on wood.

Ducklings are the cutest things EVER!!! I have hatched for others, but never kept ducks myself. That may change someday....lol!

Do you think a standard Cochin gen could handle 16 chicks? She has 13 now. But one of my hens with 3 is a bad mom...
