here's my new batched of chicks

Getting excited, my chicks ship Monday! Still slogging along on the coop build. Worked on the skylight frame today. Probably would have finished but it started raining. But hey, i got four walls up while husband was on vacation. It will be 8x10. Runs will be 10x10. Brooder just needs a scrubbing this weekend. Guineas grew like weeds. I am going to have to get going on the goat/ guinea building when i get this build done!

Adorable babies! Congrats.

And I dont mean to be rude, but has anyone told you that newspaper isn't the best thing to keep on the bottom of the brooder? Their little feet can't get traction very well, and can cause their legs to splay. I see its not in every picture, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway.
