If the medication is amprolium, bacitracin, or a few others it *can* be fed to ducklings. It's a myth that ducklings cannot have medicated feed.

As I said earlier, make sure it's not Teflon coated (shatterproof/shatter resistant). If it's a 125-watt bulb you might have to hang it lower. If 250-watt bulb you might want to raise it.
