Raising peachick in chicken territory - cocci?

I had not heard that and was told to use 6ml per gallon of water.
The one I posted a link to is a suspension like Safeguard, it's not water soluble. Actual brand name Baycox 2.5% might be water soluble, but it's more expensive.

How often should I treat for coccidiosis since my peachick is now part of my chicken flock? I know it is better not to mix chickens and peafowl but my peachick was hatched with these chicken chicks and I hate to put him in a pen all alone. I am thinking that at least he (or she) has family to spend the day with instead of being a loner. So...should I be checking for coccidiosis on a regular basis and how often? I could use some advice. My peachick is 9 weeks old.
