raising pigeons with chickens?

i dont know. can it be done.just wondering bc i have a big chicken coop and i was thinking about getting some pigeons about 10-20 and putting them in with the chickens. You will have problems chickens will eat squabs and any injured pigeon can i let them out with the chickens in the morning and they come back at nite when i shut the chickens in.Yes and if so what type of pigeon is best for this. Homing pigeons

Save yourself some heartache petition an area off with chicken wire in your coop to house pigeons.

Chicken wire isn't good for pigeons, as someone else explained. But makes sense to keep them separate. I have both, but they're not together.

silly ?'s for you. why would you raise pigeons and chickens together, but not quail and chickens? pigeons and quail are both considered game birds, are they not? isn't that a no no?

Pigeons are kept for many reasons, including racing or for pets. I've had pet pigeons for over 10 years. Interesting fact, pigeon eggs taste like chicken eggs but when you cook them the white part of the pigeon egg is actually clear! Not white! It's trippy

I use to boil the pigeon eggs and put them in a salad. People were always freaked out by the look of the eggs LOL.

I've taken no end of eggs out and replaced with fakes but I always chu k the real ones out. It's a waste really. I did joke to my boss that the cupcakes my wife made for work were made with pigeon eggs. He looked horrified!
