RAMPS...spiral, flat, stairs PICS Please!

About a year ago. Lots of straw to cover all the snow that had fallen and drifted. On the left is the nest boxes- we built 3 on top and 2 larger ones on the bottom. The bottom ones are floor level in the coop. There are double doors for us to access the eggs easily. On the other side of the nest box is the human door, which also has a pop door for the chickens. The stairs are on the left - you see there are only a few steps. View attachment 2994321View attachment 2994322
What a unique setup! Thank you for sharing!

Mine is a standard flat board too, but due to the layout of the coop/run the ramp needed to run along the length of the coop (and in front of the clean-out door), so I made a couple modifications. I added a landing platform for the pop door and attached the ramp underneath with eye screws and hooks to take the ramp off when needed. This picture shows the coop in progress before the chicks moved in, so everything looks clean! Definitely don't get too excited on how pretty things are with chickens around :th

Very nice! I want to do that as well so it is removable for cleaning purposes.

I have the blue stairs from the pop door; an old wood ladder I painted blue to match, which goes to a day perch in the run; and the ladders up to the roost which were spacer bars from old hammocks the mice destroyed with scrap rungs.
Now let me see if I can find pictures.

Oh 2! Luv this! Very functional!
There are three ways up. The two ladders and the tree stump. A bit hard to see in that picture but many of them hop on that stump and then fly up to the roost.
The roost across the way where the two Legbars are roosted has no ladder and is about 6’ away. They climb up to the main roost and then fly across.

I have pretty much the same thing as @Iluveggers
Just nailed in scrap wood.

And yes, this picture was when it was starting to get pretty old, it was safer and cleaner a few months prior. Sorry I don't have a full length pic.
I made one kinda like this except the boards going down are 1 1/2 by 1 1/2. Now it is falling apart i will use some ideas to make a new one.

So I have a Dilemma are my stairs to steep ? My 6 week old chicks just moved out to the coop. we just built it and they seem to not like the steps ( I think they are too steep ) should I remove them and have boards with rungs??? I have two silkies too. or do I just need to let them figure it out 🤣 and stop helicopter chicken parent!? … here’s my steps
