All my life (okay 20 years of chicken raising) I have preferred the look of brown eggs. Now all of a sudden I am getting the biggest thrill out of the one white egg we get a day. Go figure.....

my sister hasnt touched an egg(except in baked goods) since we were kids.
I told her that they were baby chicks. My sister doesnt eat much to this day. Very very picky eater. I think my mom still hasnt forgiven me for that.

I have to admit that I have an over abundance of eggs and that is from only 1 chicken. I am just having a hard time eating them. I have used them to bake with. Made a great omlet with them. But still have yet to fry one up. Or poach one in the morning for my toast.
I better get over this before all 5 start laying.

Neighbors are sure gonna love me and the girls though

I just finished reading this whole thread. I had to laugh out loud a couple of times.. thank you all..

I sell eggs at the restaurant where I hang out ... It has gotten to the point where I have to sneak in and let certain people know that I have eggs out in the car for them.. because if somebody else finds out they want to know how come I didn't sell the eggs to them>>(I feel like a drug dealer)LOLI will be glad when I get back up to full production..

I had one guy many years ago who was buying eggs from me.. One day he announced that he could get the eggs cheaper at the store.
I told him, go for it.. after about a week the store special offer was over. He asked me to start bringing him eggs again. I told him to keep going to the store..
I never did sell him another egg..

I have never had to thow any eggs away because I could not sell them.
