Sniper rifles an full auto guns both fit in to what the second amendment was mad for. To pretect the country for invaders, foran an domestic.

Last time I priced the barret 50 cal it went for $3K there is also a 50 cal m16 that goes for $800.

Again, the reason we keep fighting all our wars on other contanants is becouse no country atacks a well armed indiginus population.

As an avid gun collector family, we have a barret .50 cal. It is an amazing gun....and we don't see it as " if we need it". It is a collector gun and truely amzing. The power it has puts into perspective the people who shoot this gun EVERY DAY. Even though we have this gun doesn't make us a fanatic...we are collectors...........but truly it does put it in to perspective for us...we have fired this gun, and it makes us respect it alot more.

However, I do understand peoples beliefs that guns are bad, and dangerous....I grew up in this atmosphere....however, I was a victim. Enough said..next time I will be protected, as will my house and my children. It is everyone's choice, and we all have to live with this...not one person is right or wrong. We do what we believe is right by what we have been brought up to believe. In my house, it is the constitution....and we will uphold here.

A free country would be an anarchy. That is not the system we have. Out of necessity for the well being of society as a whole, there are limitations to your freedom. There are things you may not do because of the negative impact they have on others. You don't have the freedom to rape people, yell fire in a crowded theater, or manufacture your own WMDs.

There exists no earthly reason why my neighbor needs to own a vial of anthrax. Such a thing exists for no other purpose than to kill. It is not defensive, but offensive, and runs an extremely high risk of collateral damage.

For the exact same reasons, I support bans on high-caliber and automatic weapons.

You don't need a high caliber weapon for Javelina. I personally have taken one out with a 38 at about 65 yards. The guy whose ranch I was at when I did so regularly takes them out with a crossbow.

If you want to get technical, so do backpack nukes.

I don't particularly want anyone owning those either.

Um....

Actually, we just did. It's one of the reasons we keep having to send more and more soldiers.

What is it you are complaining about exactly?!?!
ETA: Regardless of your definition of a FREE country....my guns are LEGAL.
