Rant Warning! Really tired of being harrased over voting.

I have a 1/4 mile driveway up to the house from the main road with a sign at the beggining that says "Beware of Dogs". I dont get any unwanted visitors.

If you don't want to vote then don't. But...... I have found it is usually the ones that don't vote that do the most complaining.

If you put a sign out that reads "Fergit the dogs Beware of the OWNER" with a .357 magnum depicted I bet they leave you alone.

Somebody hit the answer earlier to at least cut it down some. A whole lot of the robocalls are from the political parties trying to get their vote out. If you are registered Democrat or Republican, they have your phone number in the computer and the Democrat or Republican computer keeps calling you to get you to vote. Register as an independent and you are at least off those lists. It cuts back on the junk mail too. You'll still get front door visitors if you live here they can get at you, and you'll still get some calls, but not nearly as many. Since politicians are the ones that passed the Do Not Call legislation, of course they exempted themselves. That's another law that does not apply to them.

I will not write in Boyd for any office, not even dog catcher, partly because it is messy catching dogs in subdivisions with fully automatic weapons, but mostly, if he won, he would become one of "them". He'd be too busy raising money to get reelected to post on here and I like his posts. It would be interesting to see what negative campaign ads his opponents could come up with though. Another reason to not write in for Boyd is that he might get enough votes to throw the election into a run-off. I don't want another month of this! Please Boyd, don't run!!!

I can see it now, " and just who is this darkhorse, known simply as "BOYD?" we have had a number of write in votes for? That seems to be the mystery of the day!"

Funny, we've never had anyone ask us if we vote, much less for whom. Truthfully, 9 times out of 10, I'd not want to be even partially responsible for putting either one of the goobers in office.

Besides, I do love my 3 G's (god guts n guns) and am pretty vocal about how I think criminals have it easy
