I don't know how many times I've heard about this quote but it does make sense, if we vote, we can complain! If you dont vote, too bad and there is no excuse to complain because you didnt vote LOL!

Hubby never want to vote (he sees them all liars and thieves) and he would kid me about going to vote for a loser but I told him that I can complain all I want because I voted and I got that right to complain too! I told him to shut up! LOL!

If we got those nay-sayers to vote, we don't have any excuses to shut them up, I am not sure what else we can think of....."told ya?" kind of thing when opponent loses or got caught.

That's odd Breezy, I live directly across 58th from you and I haven't seen anyone. We do have a no soliciting sign on the door but who knows. I like the way your DH is handling the situation or your threat of being the chickens treat for the week works well too

Whelp...I don't get to vote today. Missed the absentee voting deadline and I have to work today. I'm not in my registered voter state, so that sucks.

Ah well...it's gonna wind up going the way I want it to go anyway...

I have a couple of ankle biting weinerschnappers that would put a stop to this really quick once word got around. Actually, they can jump...about crotch high, and they have steel traps for jaws. The only warning one would get would be the creak of the door as it was opened.

Always happy to be a generous and friendly neighbor! I really have no idea why my block has so many political people coming. Im just paranoid enough to wonder how many of those people are actually just wondering when the best time to break in while Im out voting would be. The guy across the street from me now refuses to answer his door or his phone due at all to all the activity.

My daughter had a problem last voting "season" with someone putting a vote for xxxxx in her yard when nobody was even home. They took them down twice, even called xxxxx's office and said to cease. Then my daughter told her husband to leave the next one. It was there a couple days later. She took red spray paint, drew a circle around it and a slash through it. That sign was gone the next day and no others appeared. Sometimes she cracks me up.

We screen our calls and put on our phone message:

"We already voted and we donate online. Sales calls will ensure I never buy from your company. If you're calling for ANOTHER reason, please leave a message..."
