Tomorrow she's getting a spa day, (dog safe) nail polish and a little tiny bow. I'll post pics tomorrow!!!!!

Ohhhh Holly is getting even MORE beautiful! She has gorgeous black lacing coming in on her wings!!!! They look so lovely! Such a pretty combination, red and black feathers!!! I'll post a picture soon.

Pure bred from 2 orpingtons. I'm not sure what else she could be. It's only on her wings, the rest of her is red. I've read that Chocolate Orpingtons would've had patterns or dark penciling on their wings and breast. Holly doesn't have breast feathers yet, so we shall see. I think I meant penciling, I'm not too sure what that pattern is, so I used lacing instead.

The color "buff" can be pretty variable, and any visible lacing is considered a "fault". Could be due to a missing buff, blue, or brown dilution gene, or just natural variation.
