Kind of just chats all the time. Every once in a while there is a shriek or quack. No putt putt like my mallard drake.

a hen! A friend vent sexed the poor dear. I am leaning to a WH/SA cross or something of the like...im fascinated with the colouration, one of the prettiest ducks I've had.

I am in the same predicament. I am waiting to see how my duckling Penelope turns out. She is a rescue. 2 weeks old. But could be a drake.... I only have female ducks so hoping she really is a she but will love her just the same if she is a he.
