Yes, I read earlier in this thread 1 Tbsp. per gallon, some said 3 times a week, I think.​
 
So I'm reading mixed ACV/H2O amounts - anywhere from 1TBS to 4TBS per gallon. Also, if you make your own, and you get the "gelatinousness mass" that is Mother - do you stir it in? Leave it there?

Hey, my aunt in Switzerland had a vinegar maker. There was a mother in the bottom, and she would pour a little red wine on it every day to keep it going. She always made her salad dressing with it. If you have a bottle of cider vinegar with a mother in it, can you pour a little cider in it every day to replenish it?
 
I purchased a gallon of Organic Braggs raw unfiltered ACV with the 'mother' for only $12.00 at our local organic store. I use it in their daily drinking water. Each time I give them fresh water, I pour 1 Tablespoon in their 1 gallon waterer.
