Rcom Suro King Incubator official thread ***HIGH ALERT***see post 93

I really like mine also....IT is easy to clean and keeps the temp well...The room temp does not seem to effect the bator and the humidity stays within 1 %...I have been very pleased and LOVE the atuomatic water pump...

I did decide to put in 2 egg cartons for hatching and the LF seem to getting around in it fine...There are 4 hatched now and a couple of more on the way so I will see how crowed it gets...The headroom seems ok for everyone so far...

I did take some pics if I can figure out how to download them and post them.

A quick question. When I first open the incubator, there was this removable black foam mat over the rubber dimpled base of the incubator. Are you supposed to keep this black foam in, or is it just packing material and the eggs are supposed to rest on the dimpled rubber floor?

I believe you're supposed to keep that black foam, DON'T THROW IT AWAY. I'm fairly sure I am correct about this, but others who own one can reply if I'm correct.

Your eggs rest on top of that, and you can sanitize it after wards?

Thanks for the reply. It's kind of hard to figure out from the directions, as the pictures just show the dimpled rubber base, but one section references putting the eggs on top of a "foam mat," so I wasn't sure. It kind of looks like the material that air filters are made out of, like the ones that go in a window unit air conditioner.

I left my black foam pad in for hatching....Then I just wash it with anitbacterial soap...rinse it and then let it air dry....

Hope this helps...The directions are not very good for this incubator...I had to go to the website and watch the videos..

Here are some pics of my hatching as it is progressing...I did end up quickly taking out 4 chicks to make room for everyone else...I have 3 chicks still in the bator and about 6 more eggs pipped...All of my Polish...I decided to pull 4 out because 5 chicks were piled up on one of the eggs that is trying to hatch...
