Re-living a Nightmare

Deerman-you are so not alone all though it may feel like it:-( We are all here to support you and hold you up on that day that takes forever to end. Im so sorry for your loss-hang in there

The others who have posted their "day" are right, my day is March 10th, its been 13 yrs. It never gets easier, and don't let anyone tell you how you should feel about it either. There is no set time frame for mourning. No parent should ever have to bury their child. *big hugs*

Deerman... For any of us who's been there...

There's a room in our heart, where even we can't go.

I don't know if there will ever be a time in my life when I'll be
able to face that day without an unbearable ache in my heart.
Something we can't control.

Twenty five years, and I've yet to put a flower on his grave. I
can't do that. I've tried. Not that I don't want to. I've went to the
flower shop and tried to buy flowers. I just can't bring myself to do
that.

I'm not ready yet.

........................

Tonight, even as my thougts are with Deerman...I ask that each one of us
take the time to tell our own family how very we love them. Wake them up
if you have to. Call them on the phone if you have to.

Don't ever lose the chance to tell someone you love them.

That's any mother's worst nightmare. I am thankful every day for my babies and can only imagine the pain you go through daily. You have my greatest sympathy, if not my empathy. No simple words can possibly fill that emptiness, but I hope a hug from a stranger might ease it for a moment.

I am so sorry for your loss and pain.
My day is March 14th, 33 years ago I lost my son. It's never gotten easier, but it has gotten different.
I don't want it easier, that's my day to mourn and think of all my family and loved ones I have lost and miss them all.

Sept.15th is hard for me too...Ebony died that day...

I used to believe September was cursed, because the 10th (grandpa died) and the 16th (qualified saddest day of my life, first full day without dog) and the 11th (we all know this one, uncle got sick in that) is hard too.....
Hugs to you...you never get over it.

So sorry for your loss. It is never easy to lose someone, but I believe they are always with us in some way. I lost my dad when i was 9, never really got to know him, but he was a big builder of things and a mechanic. Everytime i build something special to me or work on something special, I feel him with me. May you feel your son with you during those special times that meant something to you both.
