Someone gave me a "chick", that someone gave to them. I raise Leghorns, white leghorns and when this chick was small it looked somewhat like a White Leghorn. Thats what they thought it was too. But now....after a few months, this white chick, is bigger and looks more like a dove. Can someone post a few dove photos maybe? Thanks!

there is an obvious difference between a dove chick and a leghorn chick.

Dove? But doves do not even peep around and feed themselves. And they are naked with closed eyes.

a pigeon chick cant eat by its self, it has to be fed through a dropper or tube if it doesnt have its parents. a chicken chick can eat on its own if it has access to food. beleive me, its a chicken. [IMG]
