Solved Reaction count changes

Which are entirely meaningless.
Yes, I understand that, but does it matter why (she? he?) cares though? If it's not supposed to be happening, it's an issue with the site that (she? he?) is doing well to bring up. Some people also find it fun to see how many posts they have or keep track of their trophy points. Some people like to look at their reaction score and say 'hey! wow! This many people reacted positively to something I said. That makes me feel really good.' Some people like to count down posts to 5,000 because it's fun. You can't do any of these things if the count isn't accurate. It shouldn't matter why someone cares, because they do, even if you don't. Some people enjoy these things, and while they aren't the sole purpose and focus of BYC, they are a fun extra that many people enjoy.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the member lost any reactions. They did lose messages, but I doubt they lost reactions.

I did not say anything about the post counts or the reaction score. The trophy points are the ones that have no value.
