Really Need Help Idetifying Gender

It would definitely be totally different if you restricted their feed. But they are large birds, and bred to eat a LOT, so if you restrict them, it would be like putting them on a diet, and they are probably hungry all the time.....???

They don't seem to be hungry all the time. They eat their feed when its feeding time then they go wander and act like any other chicken. They scratch around, take dust baths, chase bugs, lay in the shade. Putting them on a diet also effects their size. They don't get so large and they grow at a slowed pace. So they don't put on weight faster than their bones can keep up with. They end up looking very similar to White Rocks but built slightly different.

Cornish Cross is bred to grow fast but if not fed high protein and all they can eat they grow faster but not insanely fast. Females for sure will live 2+ years if raised like a traditional breed. They will lay eggs and such and well. Now Cornish Cross cockerel/ rooster will develop a huge breast and be unable to naturally breed, but generally can survive over a year if raised correctly. Usually they will eventually die of heart failure due to their weight vs heart size but usually, they are healthy up till death if raised like normal chickens.

I would think it would change when the breeder is telling me Kurt is a hen. Than I go back on here and it’s a cockeral. So it’s a little confusing also I thought a month would make a difference in indentifying gender.
