...really....

TEENAGER MY FOOT! I'm like that now! Mostly the lazy part. Dancing can be fatal at my age. Any dancing I do ends up being "break" dancing, I always break something. Furniture, lamps, bones............

ray's two cents :

I second that.

I suppose normal teenagers don't get to have a ball on BYC though, they're too busy off worrying whether the green eyeshadow makes their nose look big.

If you second that, then I third that.

I think I'm about 40% lazy, 15% just plain unmotivated, 20% books, 5% figuring out how to blare music in my room, and 20% cleaning my room. Plus a lot of other random stuff, like how sm I going to break Sundance's habit of trying to eat people, and will my ducks be okay through the winter? And things like that.

You say that like it's a BAD thing!

normal = typical = average = mediocre

With that said: teenagers, like all ages of humans, range from awesome to useless and back again.

No, not bad at all. In fact, I'm quite proud of it.

I swear, I take public transport like a business executive with his car in the shop. Other kids don't know what they're missing out on, getting carted around town everywhere.

I don't get told to clean my room.

My parents' mentality, after they gave up nagging me a few years ago, was it's your room, if you want it to be messy then suit yourself.

But I do it anyway because I can't stand having dirt everywhere.

Once a month, the sweeper comes out from behind the kitchen door and I give the floors a clean and shove the clothes on my chair back in the wardrobe.
