red blood in poop

I haven’t seen mention of bloody poops that are related to “normal” intestinal shedding.
New chicken owners often get a shock seeing red bloody stuff in poop. Of course if it’s bright red spatters (we all know blood) then the treatments suggested here make sense. But if it’s red and mucous-like (some people say “hamburger-ish”) then it’s intestinal shedding. Considered normal, but startling nonetheless. I still have a little freak when I see one and isolate the hen who pooped it to make sure it’s not something serious.
But please check the following thread.

Update on my girls:

I'm continuing to give them the severe dose of Corid. From the poop piles below the roost, it looks like it is the only the two month old orpington with issues. This morning there were no bloody splatters, but her poop pile still had some diarrhea and a slight reddish tint. This was the first morning where both girls came out of there coop almost as soon as I opened the door. Both went to eating and drinking as soon as they jumped down.

Thanks @Jadeeum, good thread. Unfortunately yesterday it was the bright red splatters.
Great that you’ve identified the afflicted hen and that she’s improving. Chicken health issues can be a mystery with few vets willing or knowledgeable enough to examine or treat (at least in my area)
BYC is great place to poke around for solutions.
Good luck!!

Update:

Thursday, Friday and this morning, no blood but still runny poop. This morning I saw what I believe is a worm, all from the same hen. Picture attached. Boths hens seem to be acting normal. I'm still treating with the severe Corid dose. Please advise...
