red combs at 3.5 weeks?!?

Looks like a SLW, which are notorious for growing wattles and combs early and they do get a little pink. So the thing I did with mine (which i thought was a roo) is wait. I know, waiting is hard, for me any ways. BUT my Lola is beautiful and hers were pink early on with little wattles growing in. They stayed that way for a long time. So I still believe that particular one is a hen. So if the others in question are Wyandotte's, just be patient. Now if you get up next week and they are taller combs and longer wattles, and double in size and really red, well then they are roos.

Yeah, they are all Wyandottes. Except one which is either a BR or Cuckoo Maran. I have suspected it might be a boy because its feathers are developing at a noticably slower rate than the others.

I've never had wyandottes, but typically, chicks don't have pink combs at only 3.5 weeks. My leghorn pullets, which are known for having large combs, still had yellow ones till they were at least 6 weeks old.
