Red crested red polish from Ideal?

We had golden laced polish was a roo got scared he would hurt hens so we gave him away!

I am soooo sorry I did!

We went to ideal (never ordered from them) and put an ordered in ordered 1 buff polish and 3 crested special (along with others)

order to be shipped on August 29!

I have four crested. I have a Golden pullet named Rootbeer, a Buff cockrel named Butterscotch, a Silver Laced cockrel named Keith Richards and a Mottled Houdan named Lemondrop. Here are some pics in the order that I named them.

OMG, what cutties, i love the names!!! sorry i haven't done pics yet i have been swamped bad here.

i did a local fair show this week and also volunteired there to help. i had 7 birds place ribbons, along with some of my flowers and divinity. i had white showgirls 2-took 1st and 1-2nd, my rir's took 2nd and 3rd, my partriage silkie took 1st and my pocelain d 'ccle roo took 1st. i have been hatching silkies and polish so between that, a generous friend and my ideal order i think i now have 40+ babies in the brooders, rotfl. still got eggs in the bator and i bought a flock of 20 white champion silkies i've been trying to get in newly built pens and situated so i've been swamped.

after i finish getting everyone settled in tomarrow finally i hope to finish filling my cam with pics. since i have to take them to another comp to upload or go to walmart to put on cd i just haven't had time and don't want to waste cd's for only a couple pics. bare with me i'll have red polish and w/c blue polish pics soon for ya all.

last year i raised silver laced and buff laced polish, multi colored frizzled, buff laced frizzle polish and black crevecours. i sold them all and was going to get out of chickens and believe me i regret it, i really miss them. i'll never make that mistake again.

i have been dealing with a custody battle over my 11 year old so sorry i haven't gotten to them. i went today and took pics of them. when dh tried to burn them from another comp he somehow got half the pics i had on cd, none of which where my flock,lol and half of my mil's pics off the comp.

tomarrow i'm going over to reburn them so i can fineally post them for you. it has been so hot here i lost 4 of my w/c blue polish babies and 3 of my white exabition silkie pullets but the others are all doing great. i believe i have a pair of the w/c blues left that's what it looked like today. the red polish i think i have males and females, i think i had 5 but only rememnber seeing 4 today so i have to check again tomarrow. i will take some group shots of them too before i head over to reburn the cds cause i forgot and only took them of one of them and some was the brooder with other kinds with them.

i'll post as soon as i can i promise i know you are dyeing to see them!!

Yes we are anxious but we all know how real life is and how it dictates what happens on a day to day basis. We are expecting an order to be shipped out on the 5th of September. We are getting 3 standard assorted cochins, 2 partridge cochins, 4 blue cochins, 1 white crested black polish and 2 of the red crested. So I think we are looking at the 7th before they arrive to our post office. At least that's how it worked the last time. Quite excited but at the same time kinda wondering where I'm going to put them all. Such a serious plight I know.

Actually my husband named him. He said with the wild crest vs. hair and nose vs. beak thing, that he was a dead ringer. I'll let you decide.

here is what my red crested red polish from ideal look like, they are 3 weeks old today. hope you enjoy the pics!!

the one of the brooder pen has some of my babies in the background but the 2 front reds are the red polish, i also have w/crested blue polish, the others that may be in the back behind the red polish are rir, silkies-different colors, favorrelles, showgirls, golden and porcelain d'uccles and can't think if there is anymore kinds in there,lol. to many babies that's only part of them ya see through the door.
